Senior Industrial Engineer - Operational Excellence

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Industrial Engineer to join their team in Bristol , focusing on operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of operational excellence programs, utilizing lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Analyze complex manufacturing and business processes to identify opportunities for significant improvement and cost reduction.
• Design and implement optimized workflows, facility layouts, and material handling systems.
• Manage cross-functional project teams to deliver improvements on time and within budget.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented changes.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and operational staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement in Bristol .

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , with a strong focus on process improvement and operational strategy.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing , Six Sigma (Black Belt certification highly preferred), and change management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects and leading diverse teams.
• Proficiency in simulation software , statistical analysis tools, and project management software.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
