Senior Industrial Engineer - Operations Excellence

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer focused on Operations Excellence to join their team in Bristol, South West England . This role is critical in driving initiatives that enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across our client's diverse operational landscape. You will leverage your expertise in process improvement methodologies to identify and implement solutions that reduce waste, optimize resource utilization, and ensure the highest standards of operational performance. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of continuous improvement programs, utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Analyze operational data to identify root causes of inefficiencies and develop data-driven strategies for improvement.
• Optimize production processes, workflows, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track key operational indicators and report on progress to management.
• Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure successful adoption of new processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilot programs for proposed operational enhancements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , with a strong focus on operations excellence and process improvement.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and Kaizen events.
• Proven ability to analyze complex operational data and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Experience with process mapping, simulation, and statistical analysis tools.
