Senior Industrial Engineer - Operations Excellence

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Senior Industrial Engineer to champion operations excellence within their manufacturing facilities in Liverpool . This role will involve leading strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, improve quality, and reduce costs across all operational areas. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools. This is a key position for an experienced engineer looking to make a significant impact on operational performance and drive best practices in a dedicated, on-site capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to drive continuous improvement.
• Analyze production processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and implement standardized work procedures and best practices across manufacturing operations.
• Conduct performance audits and root cause analysis to address quality issues and operational inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to set operational goals and develop strategies for achievement.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization, fostering employee engagement in operational enhancements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial engineering , with a strong emphasis on operations improvement and continuous learning methodologies.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt certification highly preferred) and other continuous improvement frameworks.
• Proven track record of successfully leading complex improvement projects and delivering measurable results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a collaborative Liverpool environment.
