Senior Industrial Engineer - Operations

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to oversee and enhance their core operational processes in Southampton . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Analyze operational data to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Develop and manage project plans for process upgrades, new technology introductions, and layout optimizations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality control, to integrate improvements seamlessly.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and problem-solving within the engineering department.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in operational design and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing or operational environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in process optimization , facility layout, and workflow analysis.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and project management techniques.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Superior communication and leadership skills, with the capacity to influence and manage diverse teams in Southampton .
