Our client, a significant player in the industrial sector located in Derby , is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Engineer with expertise in process design and simulation. You will be responsible for leveraging advanced simulation software to model proposed changes, predict performance outcomes, and ensure that new or modified processes meet stringent efficiency, cost, and quality targets. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new manufacturing processes and the optimization of existing ones.
• Utilize advanced simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) to model, analyze, and improve operational workflows.

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate process designs into the production environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering , with a strong focus on process design and simulation.
• Expertise in using process simulation software for complex system modeling and analysis.
• Proven ability to translate operational requirements into effective process designs.
• Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, essential for working within the Derby operations.
