Senior Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain Optimization

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map current supply chain processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement optimized inventory management strategies, including safety stock levels and reorder points.
• Design and evaluate logistics network configurations, including warehouse locations, transportation routes, and fleet management.
• Utilize simulation and modeling tools to test the impact of proposed supply chain changes before implementation.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and distribution teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain improvements.
• Develop and present performance metrics and reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience focused on industrial engineering within supply chain and logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles , inventory control models, and network design.
• Proficiency with supply chain planning and optimization software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle SCM, Llamasoft) and analytical tools.
• Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences in Leeds .
