About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer specializing in Supply Chain Optimization to join their fully remote team. This critical role focuses on analyzing and re-engineering our client's global supply chain operations to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and lower logistical costs. You will apply advanced analytical techniques and leverage sophisticated modeling tools to develop strategic solutions that optimize inventory management, transportation, and warehousing. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive significant improvements in a complex, fast-paced, and entirely remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, identifying inefficiencies and areas for optimization in inventory, logistics, and warehousing.
- Develop and implement strategic solutions to improve supply chain performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer service levels.
- Utilize advanced modeling, simulation, and data analytics to forecast demand, optimize network design, and improve flow of goods.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (procurement, operations, sales) and external partners (suppliers, carriers) to drive integrated supply chain improvements.
- Create detailed process maps, performance metrics, and business cases for proposed supply chain initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management and industrial engineering.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering with a strong focus on supply chain operations.
- Proven expertise in supply chain modeling, network optimization, and inventory management techniques.
- Advanced proficiency with relevant software, including ERP systems, WMS, TMS, and advanced analytics tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects remotely.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
