About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Industrial Engineer to join their operations team based in Aberdeen, Scotland . Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop innovative solutions for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
- Design and implement new manufacturing layouts, workflows, and systems to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and return on investment calculations for proposed process improvements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing , Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and statistical analysis software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities to effectively manage projects and teams.
