Senior Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to contribute to their operational strategies, operating under a hybrid model in Bristol . This role is focused on leading and implementing major process improvements, optimizing production systems, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials and information throughout the organization. You will leverage your expertise in industrial engineering principles to drive significant gains in productivity, quality, and cost reduction. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex manufacturing process improvements and new system introductions.
• Develop and execute strategic projects focused on lean manufacturing , Six Sigma, and overall operational excellence.
• Conduct advanced capacity planning and bottleneck analysis to optimize resource utilization and throughput.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including P&IDs, workflow diagrams, and standard operating procedures .
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with supply chain, R&D, and quality assurance teams to ensure integrated operational solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
• Over 7 years of experience in industrial engineering, process optimization, or operations management.
• Proven track record in leading successful lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects (Black Belt certification a plus).
• Expertise in process simulation, statistical analysis, and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
