About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Industrial Engineer to join their operations team in Sheffield, South Yorkshire . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex process improvements across manufacturing operations.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase throughput.
• Develop and manage project plans for operational efficiency initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.
• Conduct detailed capacity planning, labor studies, and workflow analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and logistics, to achieve strategic objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices in industrial engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial engineering or operations improvement.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
• Experience with process simulation software and data analysis techniques.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in Sheffield .
