Senior Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineer to join their innovative team, contributing to the optimization of their global supply chain and manufacturing operations from their base in Belfast . This role demands a strategic mindset, focusing on the implementation of advanced process improvement methodologies and the integration of new technologies to drive efficiency and reduce costs. Key Responsibilities

• Lead major projects focused on enhancing manufacturing productivity, reducing cycle times, and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Develop and implement strategic supply chain optimization initiatives, including network design and inventory management strategies.
• Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to model complex operational scenarios and identify optimal solutions.
• Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies, such as IoT, automation, and advanced analytics, within manufacturing processes.
• Mentor and develop junior industrial engineers, fostering a high-performance team environment.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards across all operational improvements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on process optimization and supply chain management.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing , Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt), and advanced statistical analysis techniques.
• Proficiency with simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, Simul8) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, comfortable working remotely.
