About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Industrial Engineer to join their operations team in Edinburgh, Scotland , adopting a hybrid working model. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of industrial engineering projects focused on efficiency and cost reduction.
• Develop and deploy advanced process improvement methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma, across various departments.
• Conduct capacity planning, simulation modeling, and workflow optimization studies.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to define operational strategies and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all implemented solutions within Edinburgh .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a strong track record in project leadership.
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in a hybrid work environment and ability to manage tasks effectively across different work modes.
