Senior Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team in London, England . This role is pivotal in driving operational efficiency and process improvements across various manufacturing and logistics functions. You will be instrumental in analyzing complex systems, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing data-driven solutions to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of improved manufacturing and operational processes.
• Conduct detailed time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify trends.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
• Utilize simulation and modeling software to test and validate proposed process changes before implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in industrial engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in an industrial engineering or process improvement role.
• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with CAD software and simulation tools (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
