Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing and operational processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Design, develop, and implement new process layouts, equipment, and systems to optimize throughput and efficiency.
- Conduct time and motion studies, value stream mapping, and other analytical techniques to evaluate performance.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure successful implementation of engineered solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering , preferably within a manufacturing or operational environment.
- Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams in a collaborative setting.
