Senior Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team in London . Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Design and optimize factory layouts, material flow, and equipment utilization to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and identify areas for further enhancement.
• Lead cross-functional teams on projects, ensuring successful implementation of new processes or technologies within specified timelines and budgets.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects and provide technical recommendations to senior management.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in industrial engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering roles, preferably within manufacturing or logistics.
• Proven expertise in process simulation, statistical analysis, and Lean Manufacturing /Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency with CAD software and advanced data analysis tools.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex operational improvements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
