Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
- Design, develop, and implement new production systems and workflows, utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workspace design, material flow, and operator productivity.
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and management, to achieve operational goals.
- Oversee the implementation of new equipment and technologies, ensuring smooth integration and effective training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering or process improvement role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
- Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain logistics, and quality control systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
