Key Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of current industrial processes, including production lines, material flow, and facility layout, to identify areas for significant improvement.
- Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Design and test new production methods, equipment configurations, and systems to improve efficiency, safety, and ergonomics.
- Collect and interpret complex data on operational performance, waste metrics, and cost savings to track progress and justify investments.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality assurance, and management, to ensure successful implementation of engineered solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in the application of advanced industrial engineering principles and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly desirable).
- Proficiency in using process simulation software, data analysis tools, and CAD software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in a hybrid setting, balancing on-site analysis with remote collaboration and reporting.
