About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in optimizing complex processes, systems, and organizational structures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across various industrial operations. This is a key position requiring a strategic thinker who can leverage data analytics and lean methodologies to drive significant operational improvements. You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex operational challenges into actionable engineering solutions in a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and design optimal workflows, production systems, and facility layouts to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
• Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, including operations, management, and IT, to define project scope and objectives.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation for project stakeholders, clearly communicating findings and recommendations for process optimization .
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices in industrial engineering principles and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Industrial Engineer with a strong track record of successful process improvements.
• Proficiency in process simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and CAD software.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and project management methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders remotely.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a distributed team setting.
