Senior Industrial Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their dynamic manufacturing facility in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
• Design and implement new manufacturing layouts and workflows to optimize material flow and resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Utilize data analysis and statistical methods to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive data-informed decisions.
• Lead cross-functional teams on projects focused on process enhancement and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial engineering or process improvement role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process simulation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
