About the Role
Our client is looking for a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineer to join their established operations in Liverpool, Merseyside . This role is central to optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving cost reductions. You will be responsible for analyzing complex systems, identifying key areas for improvement, and leading the implementation of solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical skill set, expertise in lean methodologies, and a proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion within a demanding industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Conduct detailed capacity planning and resource allocation analyses.
- Oversee the implementation of new equipment and technologies, ensuring smooth integration and operational readiness.
- Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and management teams to achieve operational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering or process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and application.
- Experience with simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, essential for operations in Liverpool .
