About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Industrial Process Engineer to contribute to their advanced manufacturing operations in Reading . This role requires a deep understanding of process engineering principles to optimize complex production systems, enhance product quality, and drive significant cost savings. You will lead critical projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with R&D and production teams to implement innovative solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven history of success in process optimization and a commitment to driving operational excellence in a high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex industrial processes.
- Conduct detailed process analysis, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
- Manage process improvement projects from conception through to implementation and validation.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and SOPs.
- Ensure processes meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in process engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial process engineering , with a strong focus on process optimization.
- Extensive experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab).
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
