Senior Information Security Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage information security policies, procedures, and standards to protect organizational data and systems.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Monitor security alerts and logs, investigate suspicious activities, and lead the incident response process for security breaches.
• Design and implement security awareness training programs for employees to foster a strong security culture.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all systems and processes.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and regulatory changes, recommending and implementing appropriate countermeasures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in information security , with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
• Proven experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
