Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, performing timely investigation, containment, and eradication of security breaches.
• Design and implement security controls and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security team members.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, recommending proactive measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in information security, with a strong focus on risk management and threat analysis.
• Proven experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
• Hands-on experience with security tools including SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, and firewalls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
