Senior Information Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses.
• Lead incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches.
• Monitor security alerts and logs, analysing threats and escalating critical incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into system design and operations.
• Provide security awareness training to staff across various departments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security roles, with a focus on security analysis and operations.
• Proven experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS).
• Strong understanding of network security principles, cryptography, and common attack vectors.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
