Senior Information Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security weaknesses.
• Develop, implement, and manage security controls and protocols to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Monitor security systems for threats, intrusions, and policy violations, responding effectively to incidents.
• Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, ensuring timely resolution and post-incident analysis.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, recommending improvements to existing security frameworks.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into the design and deployment of new systems and applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in information security , with at least 5 years in a similar analytical role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and best practices.
• Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
• Experience with incident response , digital forensics, and threat intelligence analysis.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
