Senior Information Security Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Information Security Analyst to join their fully remote team. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization's digital assets and information infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive information security policies and procedures across the organization.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments , vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address weaknesses.
• Monitor security systems and network traffic for suspicious activities and respond promptly to security incidents.
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Provide expert guidance and support on security best practices to IT teams and other departments.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to continuously enhance security posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security , with a proven track record in risk management and incident response.
• Proficiency in security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance.
• Hands-on experience with security tools including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote work environment .
