Senior Information Security Architect

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Information Security Architect to design and oversee the implementation of robust security solutions. This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for defining the security blueprint for our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring it is resilient against current and future threats. This role requires a deep understanding of complex security systems and the ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable architectural designs, fostering a proactive security culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the organization's overall information security architecture .
• Develop and enforce security standards, policies, and best practices for infrastructure and applications.
• Evaluate and select appropriate security technologies and solutions to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to embed security into the design and lifecycle of systems.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay abreast of emerging security threats, trends, and technologies, recommending strategic adaptations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, with a strong focus on architecture.
• Proven experience designing and implementing secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep knowledge of network security, cryptography, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection.
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
