Senior Information Security Engineer - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.
• Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations and incident response.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
• Respond to and investigate complex security incidents, providing detailed analysis and resolution.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, recommending and implementing appropriate countermeasures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in information security engineering or a related technical security role.
• Strong expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint security solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and vulnerability management tools.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, networking, and common security vulnerabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively independently in a fully remote environment.
