About the Role
Our client is searching for a highly motivated Senior Information Security Engineer to join their expanding security team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fully remote capacity, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge security infrastructure. You will be instrumental in protecting the organisation's digital assets by developing robust security solutions, automating processes, and responding to complex security challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and implement security automation solutions using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
- Conduct security reviews of systems and applications, identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.
- Lead security incident response activities, performing forensic analysis and remediation.
- Collaborate with cloud and development teams to ensure secure cloud architectures and deployments.
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security Engineering or a related field.
- Strong expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and security automation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools.
- Excellent understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Relevant certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC are highly desirable.
