About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Installation Engineer to join their technical services team in Sheffield . This role is essential for the precise installation and commissioning of specialized equipment for their industrial clients. You will lead installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform the installation and commissioning of complex machinery and equipment at client sites.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals to guide the installation process accurately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all installations meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Provide on-site technical support and training to clients and junior installation staff.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Installation Engineer or in a similar field-based technical role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to read and understand complex technical documentation.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to site-specific protocols.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to client sites across the region and occasionally further afield.
