Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into the validity and extent of insurance claims, gathering all necessary documentation and evidence.

• Calculate appropriate settlement amounts based on policy terms, damage assessments, and legal requirements.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with policyholders, providing clear explanations of claim decisions and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external adjusters, and legal counsel to resolve intricate claims efficiently.
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced claims assessors, sharing best practices and expertise in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance claims assessment, with a proven track record in handling complex cases.
• In-depth understanding of insurance law , regulations, and industry best practices relevant to the UK market .
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using claims management software and other relevant digital tools for remote collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• A professional qualification in insurance (e.g., CII) is highly desirable.
