Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Claims Handler to join their reputable team in Bristol . Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex and high-value insurance claims efficiently and effectively.
• Investigate claims thoroughly, gather evidence, and assess liability and policy coverage.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders, third parties, and their representatives.
• Provide expert advice and support to policyholders throughout the claims process.
• Mentor and assist junior claims handlers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Ensure all claims are processed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Significant experience as an Insurance Claims Handler, with a proven ability to manage complex claims.
• Thorough understanding of relevant insurance products and claims handling procedures.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team in Bristol .
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) are advantageous.
