About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join their team in Wolverhampton . This role requires a leader who can manage complex, large-scale IT projects from conception through to successful deployment within a dedicated office environment. You will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, and stakeholder management, ensuring that all projects align with the company's technological vision and business goals. We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record of delivering critical IT initiatives and driving operational excellence from our Wolverhampton office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of strategic IT projects, ensuring delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, vendors, and technical teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
• Oversee the procurement and management of IT resources and third-party services as required.
• Ensure project outcomes contribute to the overall IT strategy and business objectives of the organisation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT project management, with significant experience in a senior or lead capacity.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex IT infrastructure, software development, and system implementation projects.
• Expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
