About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to spearhead critical technology initiatives in Wolverhampton . This role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing complex IT projects, ensuring their successful delivery aligned with business objectives. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring robust governance and execution of IT strategies, playing a key part in the digital evolution of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of large-scale IT projects .
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
• Oversee technical teams, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Manage third-party vendors and contractors involved in IT projects.
• Provide regular status updates and comprehensive reports to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of proven experience as an IT Project Manager , with a strong track record in delivering complex systems.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
