About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic operations team in London . This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of transportation, warehousing, and delivery operations, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will play a crucial part in optimizing supply chain processes and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and vendors. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all inbound and outbound transportation logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and stock control.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping carriers, suppliers, and other logistics partners.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track logistics efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
• Resolve logistical issues and challenges promptly to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, with at least 3 years in a senior capacity.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and logistics software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing carrier contracts.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
