Senior Logistics Coordinator

About the Role

Our client, a prominent player in the logistics and supply chain sector, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their dynamic team. You will be instrumental in optimizing our client's transportation networks, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient logistics plans to manage inbound and outbound shipments.
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of carriers, freight forwarders, and other third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor shipment progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
• Utilize logistics software and systems to track inventory, manage routes, and analyze performance metrics.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation vendors to optimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, with at least 5 years in the field.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, transportation modes, and international shipping procedures.
• Proficiency in using logistics management software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
