Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their dynamic team in Birmingham . Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for a variety of applications, including predictive analytics and recommendation systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to integrate ML models into production systems and pipelines.
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and efficiency using best practices in MLOps.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to improve model accuracy and robustness.
• Stay current with research in machine learning and artificial intelligence, evaluating and applying new techniques as appropriate.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
