About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Maintenance Engineer to oversee and execute essential maintenance operations in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire . You will lead diagnostic efforts, implement preventative maintenance strategies, and manage repairs to minimize operational disruptions. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery and systems.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules and strategies.
- Oversee and assist in major equipment overhauls and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Train and guide junior maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Significant proven experience in an industrial or mechanical maintenance engineering role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem identification.
- Leadership potential or experience in mentoring team members.
