Senior Management Accountant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Management Accountant to join their globally distributed, fully remote finance team. This role is critical in providing in-depth financial analysis, strategic insights, and robust management reporting to support business growth and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with department heads and senior leadership to drive financial performance and support key business decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, financial statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and refine financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
• Provide insightful analysis of variances, identifying key business drivers and risks.
• Lead and mentor junior members of the finance team within the remote structure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment on financial objectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record in a Senior Management Accountant role or similar, with strong analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote environment.
