About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team based in Aberdeen, Scotland . Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes.
- Identify and investigate financial variances, providing clear explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand their financial needs and provide relevant support and analysis.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, UK GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
