About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting a skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to bolster their production capabilities in Sunderland . You will be responsible for the technical aspects of manufacturing, including process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure efficient production.
• Analyze production data to identify and resolve manufacturing issues, reducing scrap and rework.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Work with product design teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing.
• Develop and deliver training to production staff on new processes and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the Sunderland facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proven experience with process improvement methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
