About the Role

Our client seeks a dedicated and experienced Senior Massage Therapist & Wellness Coach to join their esteemed wellness centre in Edinburgh . This role is for an individual passionate about holistic health and client well-being, possessing advanced therapeutic massage skills and the ability to guide clients towards sustainable wellness goals. You will be instrumental in providing bespoke massage treatments and developing personalized wellness plans, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of care and achieve profound improvements in their physical and mental health.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of advanced therapeutic massage modalities, including deep tissue, sports massage, Swedish, and trigger point therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to understand their needs, physical condition, and wellness objectives.
• Develop and implement personalized wellness programs, incorporating massage, stretching, and lifestyle advice.
• Educate clients on self-care techniques, injury prevention, and strategies for managing stress and improving overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and treatment plans.
• Stay current with the latest research and techniques in massage therapy and holistic wellness practices.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Massage Therapy (e.g., ITEC, VTCT) or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years of clinical experience.
• Proficiency in multiple advanced massage techniques and a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Certification or demonstrated experience in wellness coaching, nutrition, or related holistic health fields is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Ability to create a calm and therapeutic environment, ensuring client comfort and relaxation.
