About the Role

Our client, a renowned wellness centre in Portsmouth , is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Massage Therapist . This role is critical in providing therapeutic and relaxation massage services to clients, contributing to their overall well-being. As a senior member of the team, you will also assist in guiding junior therapists and upholding the centre's reputation for excellence in Hampshire . The ideal candidate is dedicated to the art of massage therapy, possesses a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, and is committed to delivering exceptional, client-centered care in a tranquil and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and remedial massage.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their needs, medical history, and specific concerns.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address client goals, whether for relaxation or therapeutic benefit.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure all treatment areas are clean and well-equipped.

Requirements

• Fully qualified and certified Massage Therapist (e.g., ITEC, VTCT Level 3 or above).
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in massage therapy.
• Expert knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Proficiency in various massage modalities and techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and professional demeanor.
