Our client, a prestigious spa and wellness center in Cambridge , is seeking a highly skilled and intuitive Senior Masseuse Therapist . You will be responsible for providing a wide range of therapeutic massage treatments, focusing on client relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role is ideal for a seasoned therapist who possesses a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, excels in client care, and contributes to a tranquil and professional spa environment known for its healing therapies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various types of massage, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and aromatherapy, tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct client consultations to understand their medical history, stress levels, and specific areas of concern.
- Develop personalized treatment plans to address client needs and achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain a pristine and serene treatment room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sanitized and organized.
- Provide clients with advice on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate home-care strategies.
Requirements
- Recognized qualification in Massage Therapy (e.g., ITEC, VTCT) with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage.
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a spa team.
