Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced FEA, CFD, and thermal analysis on mechanical components and assemblies.
- Develop and validate complex simulation models using industry-leading software.
- Interpret simulation results, providing clear, actionable recommendations to design engineers.
- Contribute to the optimization of designs for performance, durability, and manufacturability.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in simulation technology and analytical techniques.
- Author detailed technical reports documenting analysis methodologies and findings.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a strong analytical focus.
- Significant experience (7+ years) in performing advanced mechanical simulations and analysis.
- Expertise in finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and thermal analysis.
- Proficiency with major CAE software packages (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL).
- Proven ability to work effectively and communicate complex technical details in a remote setting.
- Strong understanding of material properties and failure modes.
