About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Subsurface Analyst to join their fully remote team, contributing to their extensive operations in the Oil & Gas industry . This role focuses on integrating and analyzing vast amounts of subsurface data to support exploration, development, and production decisions. You will play a key part in seismic interpretation, geological modeling, and reservoir characterization, providing critical insights from your home office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work flexibly from anywhere in the UK, while making a significant impact on strategic subsurface evaluations for our client, supporting teams often based near Reading .
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate and interpret diverse subsurface datasets, including seismic, well logs, and core data.
- Develop and refine geological and reservoir models to understand subsurface complexities.
- Conduct quantitative seismic interpretation and attribute analysis to identify hydrocarbon potential.
- Evaluate reservoir properties and performance, contributing to resource estimation and field development planning.
- Collaborate effectively with geoscientists, reservoir engineers, and drilling engineers in a remote environment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related geoscience field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in subsurface analysis within the Oil & Gas sector .
- Expertise in using advanced subsurface interpretation and modeling software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom).
- Proven ability in seismic interpretation , structural geology, and sedimentology.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven success in remote collaboration and autonomy, supporting a distributed workforce that may include personnel near Reading .
