Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for aerospace applications, ensuring structural integrity and performance.
• Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), to predict behavior under extreme conditions.
• Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans, adhering to strict aerospace standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to ensure designs are production-ready and meet rigorous quality benchmarks.
• Lead technical reviews and contribute to project planning and risk assessment.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in aerospace technology and mechanical design principles.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design, with a strong focus on the aerospace industry .
• Proven expertise in CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5, Siemens NX) and FEA/CFD tools.
• In-depth knowledge of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, and industry-specific regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment in Manchester .
