Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and detailed development of novel mechanical systems and products, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Utilize advanced CAD software and simulation tools to create precise models, perform analyses (e.g., stress, thermal), and validate designs.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, in a remote setting.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for prototypes and pre-production units, identifying and resolving design flaws.
• Create thorough technical documentation, including design specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and manufacturing drawings.
• Proactively identify design challenges and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions to meet project timelines and performance targets.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Expertise in industry-leading CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and FEA analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (machining, 3D printing, injection molding), and DFM principles.
• Proven ability to manage complex design projects independently and deliver high-quality results in a remote work environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a strong emphasis on virtual teamwork.
