Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design process for complex projects, from initial concept through to detailed design and production support, entirely remotely.
• Conduct advanced engineering analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and thermal analysis, utilizing remote collaboration tools.
• Develop and manage detailed 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and comprehensive technical documentation using cloud-based platforms.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional remote teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, via virtual communication channels.
• Oversee virtual prototyping, testing coordination, and validation processes, analysing data and implementing design improvements.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers within the remote team structure.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related advanced technical discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Expertise in advanced CAD/CAE software and a strong capability for remote collaboration and digital toolsets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical design efforts independently and within a distributed team.
• Excellent understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management in a remote context.
• Strong self-discipline, communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fully remote work environment.
