Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimisation of complex mechanical systems and components from concept to production.
• Perform advanced engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration simulations using FEA software.
• Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) according to industry best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with remote teams, including product managers, software engineers, and manufacturing partners, using virtual communication tools.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers within the remote team structure.
• Ensure designs meet performance, cost, manufacturability, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks , Creo , or Inventor , and advanced FEA skills.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential.
